Arcane Characters Could be Heading to League of Legends

Some of Arcane's popular characters could be appearing as champions in League of Legends.
Arcane, the animated Netflix show based on Riot Games' behemoth MOBA League of Legends, has been a quick success with many. The show has introduced many to the world of LoL and has seen fans and newbies alike enjoying the characters the show has to offer. Featuring Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Purnell as sisters Vi and Jinx, its popularity has already netted the show a second season.
Thanks to its success, many fans have been regularly asking if any of the characters from Arcane will be making an appearance in League of Legends. Fans recently took to Reddit during a Sentinels of Light thread to pose their questions to the developers.

One user asked if either of the two upcoming characters teased for next year are going to be related to Arcane.
Lead champion producer Ryan “Reav3” Mireles replied, "No, that’s the reason we moved them out of the end of the year. I couldn’t get specific at the time since I couldn’t say what the event was when the roadmap came out, since it was dull under wraps. We felt it would be weird to release champs that aren’t related to or in Arcane in the middle of the Riot x Arcane event."
Despite this, Mireles didn't rule out the future inclusion of Arcane characters:
"With how much Arcane has resonated with so many players, Champs team is definitely excited to explore characters from Arcane, that would make sense in a MOBA, in the future."
So, while the upcoming ACD and Support won't be characters from Arcane, their inclusion hasn't been ruled out for the future. The developers haven't specified which characters could be making an appearance, but they wouldn't be short of choices. In the meantime, fans can look forward to some new champions to get to grips with very soon.
