Assassin's Creed Valhalla Nintendo Switch: Will There Be a Switch Version?
By Andrew Lin

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Nintendo Switch seems like a natural fit. Ubisoft has ported previous Assassin's Creed games to the Nintendo flagship console, but there aren't any plans to bring the latest in the franchise to the Switch.
We will be happy to reveal our first Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay trailer during the First Look Xbox Series X Gameplay on Inside Xbox. Stay tuned. https://t.co/iogAt5lIAh

Set in the viking age, Valhalla brings Assassin's Creed to the Dark Ages. Assassin's Creed Valhalla will also bring the series to next generation: it will serve as Ubisoft's launch title for PS and Xbox Series X.

Like most games released in a transitional period, it will be available for the current generation's PS4 and Xbox, as well as PC and Stadia. Despite appearing on a large swathe of consoles and systems, the Switch is nowhere to be found.
With the focus on next-gen, the Switch might not have the power to run Assassin's Creed Valhalla without some major compromises. The game will also be marketed as a launch title to push the next console generation, so it's no surprise that a port to inferior hardware isn't in development at this time.
That's not to say we'll never see a version of it: The Witcher 3 was another technically advanced game that saw a port to the Switch.
