Most Ridden in Back 4 Blood can be easily killed when encountered by the Cleaners. The Ogre is not like most Ridden.

In Back 4 Blood, one of the first special zombies — as well as bosses — the survivors face in the campaign is the Ogre in the second mission of The Devil's Return chapter in Act 1: Resurgence, Tunnel of Blood. With the upcoming title's official release just days away, here's a breakdown of how to defeat the Ogre in Back 4 Blood.

Back 4 Blood Ogre: How to Defeat the Monster

When first coming across an Ogre in Back 4 Blood, you're likely going to be in for a bad time.

This is because the Ogre immediately induces chaos, and once a horde is startled via the birds or a car alarm, it's pretty much a "GG" on the higher difficulties.

To take down an Ogre, the first thing to do is make sure you put some distance between it and yourself. Although it appears slow, like most Ridden in the game, the Ogre can close the distance pretty fast and make you pay for underestimating it. Try to dodge its massive ball of Ridden flesh as well, that does a ton of damage.

Next, simply aim for its weak spots. This is pretty straightforward as they glow on his chest and neck.

Some other things the Cleaners can do to make the fights go fast is by using pipe bombs and Molotovs, as well as ensure that they're using the right cards.
