Banjo-Kazooie, developed by Rare Limited, made its debut on the Nintendo 64 back in 1998. Following the story of Banjo (a bear) and Kazooie (a bird), the unlikely duo must stop the kidnapping of Banjo's younger sister by the witch Gruntilda. The game quickly become a staple entry in the Nintendo 64 catalog, with many citing the 3D platformer as one of the best around.
The game has spawned a number of sequels and spin-offs and, following Rare's acquistion by Microsoft, a remasterd version was released for the Xbox 360.
