PUBG Corp released a patch preview for July that showcased the incoming changes including Radio Messages, the new ping system.
While PUBG may have been the first mainstream battle royale, Fortnite and Apex Legends both changed the game in different ways. Apex Legends had a masterful ping system and Fortnite was quick to copy it. Now, PUBG Corp is following suite.
The Radio Message is PUBG's version of a ping system. The Radio Message is a new communication function that will help you better communicate with your teammates. There will be eight types of messages to choose from, some of which will work interactively with targets, items, and your inventory.
The update will drop on July 30, and you will be able to test out the new contents on the Public Test Server (PTS) on July 23.
