Battle Cry of Freedom will be released sometime in 2022. Battle Cry of Freedom is a simulation game that takes players back to 19th century America. Players can either play as a Union or Confederate soldier and experience the brutal realities of the Civil War.

Flying Squirrel Entertainment is a small, indie game developing company that focuses on creating historical war video games. Their first game, Mount & Blade: Warband, also takes place in the 19th century, but in Europe. The game has received positive reviews from almost 3,000 players on Steam. Battle Cry of Freedom follows the same historical and battle genre as Mount & Blade: Warband.

Battle Cry of Freedom Release Date

Battle Cry of Freedom is played in first and third person in order to give players a realistic and historical war experience. The game also features a wide variety of Civil War era weapons from long-range rifled muskets to various close combat tools such as bayonets, knives and sabers.

Battle Cry of Freedom is currently available for players to add to their wishlist on Steam. On Flying Squirrel's FAQ page, the developers have announced that their is no set price for Battle Cry on Freedom yet. However, they do mention that the game will not be more than $25 to purchase.
