How to Get a PlayStation 5 from Best Buy in 2022
At the time of writing, Thursday, Jan. 6, all PlayStation 5 consoles have sold out at Best Buy. The only way to get another console is to track the restocks and releases and wait for the next wave to hit shelves. Below, we've answered when fans can expect more stock.
When Will Best Buy Restock the PlayStation 5 in 2022?
The last restock at Best Buy for the PlayStation 5 was yesterday, Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022. At the time of writing, all consoles are out of stock.
Much like its pattern with the Xbox Series X, Best Buy restocks its PlayStation 5 consoles in waves with clusters of release dates separated by a long pause. For example, its most recent circulation dates were in December 2021 on Dec. 6, 10, and 27. Each cluster typically holds two dates, about four to nine days apart, separated by a two-week pause.
As the PlayStation 5 has already hit its second date for this cluster, fans can assume it will be another two weeks before the wave begins again.
