Best Moveset for Samurott in Pokemon GO

Pokemon GO has quite a lot of Pokemon, and among them all, the Unova region’s Samurott is considered to be one of the best in the game. While there are some other things that need to be prepared to make this Pokemon a beast, what is the best moveset for Samurott?

Samurott was a Pokemon that made its debut in Pokemon Black and White, hailing from the Unova Region. As the final evolution of the water-type Oshawott, it’s known for being a formidable Water-type with high Attack stats, making any battle with it dangerous. 

Samurott’s best moves in Pokemon GO are Waterfall and Hydro Pump, making it a beast against Fire-types and Ground-types. Sporting a Max CP of 2,826 and a Base Attack stat of 212, it’ll take Pokemon like Deoxys and Thundurus to take it down. With an upcoming event featuring Oshawott occurring in September, it will become easier for new players to acquire a Samurott of their own. 

Best Moveset for Samurott in Pokemon GO

The upcoming Community Day featuring Oshawott is scheduled to begin on Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in accordance with the user’s time zone. In this event, Oshawott will become extremely frequent in the wild, as well as Shiny Oshawott will making its debut in Pokemon GO. In addition to the spotlight on Oshawott, any newly-evolved Samurotts around that time will automatically learn Hydro Cannon. Samurott will also receive a new move in it’s move pool: Razor Shell.

Samurott is available to capture, breed, and trade in Pokemon GO, with it’s Community Day event slated to occur on Sept. 19.
