Bjergsen Re-Signs With TSM; Receives Ownership Shares in Team

Bjergsen Re-Signs With TSM; Receives Ownership Shares in Team
Bjergsen, the face of TSM's League of Legends team, signed a two-year extension to keep him with the team through 2021. He's featured in the mid lane for the storied LCS team since 2013.
"Especially after this season and talking in review of the last two years, I had a talk with him about what we thought went wrong, and we had really similar feelings on those issues and that made me really confident going forward," Bjergsen said in the team's announcement video.
An added sweetener on the deal, TSM's press release confirmed Bjergsen also became a part owner in the organization with the new deal.
TSM failed to qualify for the League of Legends World Championship for the second year in a row after falling to Clutch Gaming in the North American regional qualifier.
