"Front Row introduces a brand new, open production with studios, stages and exclusive team zones, bringing the fans much closer to the players, talent, media and production than ever before – in a tournament format which for the first time will include BO3 semi finals," BLAST Pro Series said in its announcement.
Previous BLAST Pro Series CS:GO tournaments had a full round robin best-of-one group stage with the two top teams advancing to the grand final. Now, the top four teams will advance to a best-of-three semifinal.
Five teams are confirmed to attend BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles: Team Liquid, FaZe Clan, MIBR, Cloud9 and NRG Esports. One team has yet to be announced.
BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles takes place July 13-14 at the HD Buttercup building with $250,000 on the line.
