BLX51900001 WoW Shadowlands Error: How to Fix
By Jack O'Dwyer
BLZ51900001 error codes have started to appear for players in WoW: Shadowlands.
World of Warcraft (WoW), like any online game, is not above throwing an error every few months or so. Most of these tend to do with the player's connection to the internet and/or the client application's connection to the game server host. In laymen's terms, something happened between the user's individual computer and the WoW server—leaving them not on speaking terms.
Here's how to fix it.
BLZ51900001 WoW Shadowlands Error
The "BLZ51900001" category directly concerns the player's connection to the internet and, therefore, the gaming server. It often appears when the connect malfunctions and is broken, forcing players out of the game and back to the log-in screen. For example, BLZ51901016 functions this exact way, kicking players from the game and forcing them back to the Realm list.
Fortunately, Blizzard has uploaded an official method to fix this error on the support forum. According to them, there are six ways to check for and potentially resolve issues with the user's connection to WoW gaming servers.
- Ensure your machine meets the Shadowlands minimum requirements.
- Update or re-install drivers associated with WoW and your operating system.
- Reset your user interface and check your add-ons. Out of date add-ons can cause communication problems between host and client.
- Physically reset your internet. Turn your router or connection off and on again to restart its connection to the internet. Call your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if you need more details.
- Troubleshoot your wireless connection. Most operating services have this option build in—typically under "Network Settings."
- Close other applications to lessen the strain on your rig and potentially free up bandwidth. If others use your internet, consider picking a time when it isn't so heavily flooded.
Additionally, players should be sure they aren't attempting to log-in during scheduled maintenance. WoW has a scheduled maintenance period every week, typically from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET or during common off-hours. Maintenance is scheduled today, Jan. 5, at the previously mentioned time.
