But Allows Fallout 76 NPCs to Steal Weapons From Dead Players

Non-playable characters (NPCs) in Fallout 76 are now swiping weapons off of dead players, PC Gamer reported Tuesday.

The reports of this happening have come from players after participating in events in Fallout 76, including the Riding Shotgun and Radiation Rumble events.

You can see it for yourself below in a YouTube video from Dani Garcia. Note the appearance of the player's gatling plasma gun in the hands of an NPC by the name of Marion Copeland after the 2-minute mark.

Because NPCs can't die during these missions, it's not possible to loot any stolen weapons back, unfortunately.

Bethesda followed up on a Reddit thread discussing the bug, noting that it is currently investigating the matter.
