Call of Duty League players are concerned about the potential use of an exploit heading into the CDL Championship tournament late next month.

This COD glitch allows players to see their opponents' positions in the mini-map by opening the start menu during the killcam after they are eliminated.

Matthew "FormaL" Piper of the Chicago Huntsmen and James "Clayster" Eubanks of the Dallas Empire voiced their opinions on Twitter for allowing the glitch to continue and called out other players for taking advantage of it.

"They [Infinity Ward] need to fix this start glitch or whatever I didn't know it was like that," FormaL wrote. "And if you're a pro and you used it this weekend you're just a weirdo and should feel ashamed even though I know you probably don't."

A number of other CDL players commented under FormaL's post. Some said that any hope of a fix before Champs is a pipe dream, but the New York Subliners' Tommy "ZooMaa" Paparatto suggested that all players have their killcams turned off during the event to prevent cheating.

Clayster suggested that some teams knew about the mini-map exploit before the Toronto Home Series, which took place July 24, and that it gave them an unfair advantage. Comments underneath his tweet suggested that every team will have to use the exploit in Champs or risk poor performance.

At the minimum, players hope killcams are just disabled in case a fix isn't implemented in time.
