Call of Duty Modern Warfare Beta Confirmed at Multiplayer Reveal
By Max Mallow

Call of Duty Modern Warfare beta was confirmed Thursday during the game's multiplayer reveal stream.
Activision and Infinity Ward's CoD: MW, the upcoming entry in the most popular first-person shooter franchise, had a multiplayer reveal stream Tuesday as is such with new titles over the past years. Call of Duty fans were treated to a big announcement in the mode's reveal trailer to kick off the stream.
A multiplayer beta is on the way. Here's everything you need to know.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Beta
Call of Duty fans will get to play the open beta as early as Sept. 12 on PlayStation 4. To get early access, players must pre-order the game on PS4. Otherwise, PS4 owners will get to play the beta two days later. The game's beta will be available on other platforms, namely PC and Xbox One, at a later date.
The beta will have crossplay, according to Charlie Intel. But there was no confirmation in the official reveal.
The minimum time on the open beta is two days. It's worth noting that past Call of Duty multiplayer betas have been extended past their expected end date.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare releases Oct. 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
