Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 Update Will Be 'Large,' Developer Says
By Liz Lanier

The download for the latest season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is going to be a big one, developer for Infinity Ward revealed via Twitter on Wednesday.
Ashton Williams, senior communications manager at Infinity Ward, tweeted that the Season 4 download will be 4GB of additional content for all platforms, after compressing assets that will reduce the amount of space that Warzone and Modern Warfare take up overall.
The Season 4 download is going to be large. In order to reduce the overall disc space that MW and WZ take up, we're compressing a bunch of assets. Once installed, the S4 launch will only take up an additional 4GB on consoles for all of the new content.

Williams went on to note that the team is continuing to work on reducing the size of assets where possible, and recommended that players who need to free up space on their hard drives consider removing content packs for modes that aren't being played currently.
The Season 4 update was originally planned for June 3, but was delayed to June 10 out of respect for the protests following the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis.
