Call of Duty not getting XP is a pesky error for Modern Warfare players as it kills a major incentive behind grinding public matches,
There are always issues in every game ever made, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is no exception to this.
Recently, there has been an issue where players are not being rewarded experience after their matches. Infinity Ward released this tweet below to acknowledge that they know about the issue and are working towards solving it.
We’re currently tracking an issue where XP is not being awarded after matches. Our teams are investigating and we’ll provide another update when we have more information. Thank you for your patience.

Call of Duty Not Getting XP: How to Fix the Error
Infinity Ward took to Twitter again Monday to acknowledge the problem.
"We’re still investigating and working on a fix for this issue," Infinity Ward wrote on Twitter. "We’ll keep you updated and thank you again for your patience."
So far, there is no fix for the error, but clearly the developers are hard at work on finding it. Fans hope Infinity Ward has a remedy soon, otherwise public matches will be rather pointless for those wanting to grind levels.
