Our Call of Duty: Vanguard assault rifle tier list for November 2021 is here to break down which of the guns are the best to use as players begin to dive into the new title's multiplayer for the first time.

It's week one with Vanguard multiplayer officially here, and needless to say, players are already trying to figure out what the best guns to use are. So far, there are 38 different weapons to use, including seven assault rifles, six SMGs, four shotguns, four LMGs, three marksman rifles, three sniper rifles, five pistols, four launchers, and two melee tools. Here is a breakdown of the best assault rifles to use in Call of Duty: Vanguard in November 2021.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Assault Rifle Tier List November 2021

S Tier

With such an overwhelmingly high pick rate along with the MP-40, the STG44 deserves to have the S Tier all to itself at the moment. With a blend of high rate of fire, minuscule recoil and nasty damage, the STG44 simply excels in everything that Call of Duty is about.

A Tier

  • Automaton

In A Tier, the Automaton is more than simply the go-to alternative for those who don't want to use the STG44. While a lot of players have been comparing it to the M13 from Modern Warfare and the Krig 6 from Black Ops Cold War thanks to how easy it is to use at longer ranges, the Automaton should have a higher ceiling than those two weapons. On paper, the Automaton is the best AR in Call of Duty: Vanguard thanks to its broken TTK across all ranges.

B Tier

  • BAR
  • NZ-41
  • AS 44

In B Tier are a handful of options that are fine options to use as well. Unfortunately for the BAR, which was really good in the beta, it's just a step behind the STG44 at closer ranges and the Automaton at longer ranges. Although it has a slower rate of fire, the NZ-41 seems to be a heavy sleeper so far thanks to its consistent two-shot potential. With the fastest base TTK in the weapon class, the AS 44 definitely hits hard but requires players to take fights much closer than the other ARs, as well as learn its recoil pattern.

C Tier

  • Itra Burst
  • Volkssturmgewehr

These two weapons in C Tier are definitely going to be much more niche picks. With the Itra Burst not being full-auto, that automatically makes it a weapon that players will either love or hate. Despite having a very fast fire rate, the Volk doesn't have a great TTK up close. With it being tough to use at longer distances as well thanks to that rapid recoil, the Volk is overall tough to recommend for most players to use.
