Call of Duty: Vanguard Ranked Play Confirmed for Season 2
After plenty of much-needed deliberation between the competitive Call of Duty community and the game's developers in recent weeks, it appears the moment many have all long been waiting for is finally on the horizon.
"We hear you loud and clear: Ranked Play is a priority for Call of Duty players," the Call of Duty League said in their first-ever Community Update back in January. "We want to give the next generation of Call of Duty pros a place to prove their skills and play at the highest levels."
Now, with the CDL 2022 Season's Opening Weekend of play in the books, Ranked Play for Vanguard Multiplayer is set to launch at the start of Season 2, featuring league-approved rules, visible Skill Ratings, new competitive rewards and "other innovations from Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games."
More information about this "fourth pillar of Vanguard" is said to be coming later this week in a dedicated broadcast from the CDL and Treyarch.
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone is set to launch on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022. Updates for the new season will be available for players to download across both titles at 12 p.m. ET on Feb. 10 for Vanguard and at 12 p.m. ET on Feb. 14 for Warzone,
