Can Buizel be shiny in Pokemon GO? The short answer is no, no it cannot. There are still a good number of shiny Pokemon from the Sinnoh and Unova regions that have not yet been patched into the game. Buizel, and its evolved form Floatzel, do not have shiny forms yet.

Can Buizel Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?

The shiny form of Buizel is gold instead of orange with a white flotation collar instead of a yellow one. Floatzel's shiny form is the same, with gold fur and a white flotation sack wrapped around its body. The Buizel line is easily outclassed by other Pokemon in the Pokemon Go meta, its max stats and move pool aren't remarkable and since it's a pure water type it doesn't offer much coverage. This fact might actually help its chances. Since it won't shake anything up in the meta to put a whole bunch in the hands of players, it's a good candidate for themed events and special raids, like the recent Gastly Community Day event.

Buizel also has an appealing design in general and it has a good group of players that count it as one of their favorite Pokemon. Hopefully, Buizel's shiny form will be added in future updates but as of now, shiny Buizel is unavailable to players.
