Can Clefairy Be Shiny in Pokemon Go?
By Jun Kok

Can Clefairy be shiny in Pokemon Go? Clefairy will be the third spotlight hour in Pokemon Go in June and will be running during the Solstice Event.
June's spotlight hour will take place every Tuesday at 6 p.m. local time and run for an hour. A specific Pokemon is chosen to have bonuses for being caught or evolved. Patrat's bonus was double XP for players on June 9, whilst Numel will give players double stardust today, June 16.
On June 23, Clefairy will be the Pokemon in the spotlight hour and will have increased chances of being a shiny. Players will also earn double XP for catching a Clefairy.
In celebration of the solstice, Lunatone ? and Solrock ☀️ will be appearing in different regions! Plus, if you’re lucky, you might even encounter a ✨ Shiny Clefairy. Get ready for our solstice event, Trainers! ☀️? https://t.co/DtJrLsRy7Y pic.twitter.com/9JCifYlMo9

How to catch Shiny Clefairy
Shiny Clefairy has been available as a Shiny since the 2019 Valentine's Day event. Players could only achieve a Shiny Clefairy through hatching and evolving a Shiny Cleffa.
Until June 23, players can still encounter a Shiny Clefairy but must hatch an Shiny Cleffa to do so. Cleffa can be found in 2km eggs. Cleffa will evolve into Clefairy with 25 candies and then into Clefable with 50 candies.
Players will also have increased chances to find and catch Clefairy during the Solstice Event. In addition, Shiny Clefairy will also be available inside 5km eggs during this event.
The Solstice Event will begin on June 19 at 8 a.m. local time. It will end on June 24 at 10 p.m. local.
Shiny Clefairy will also be available to catch on June 23 as apart of the Spotlight Hour.
Whether that means shiny Clefairy will have double or stacked chances is unknown. Players will have to find out on the day. If it is like Seedot's community day, it may be very easy to encounter a Shiny Clefairy.
