Can Duskull be shiny in Pokemon GO?
Duskull's shiny form in Pokemon GO is more elusive than the ghost-type, itself.
Niantic Labs' 2020 Halloween event programming is well underway as trainers are eagerly seeking out the featured frightening Pokemon. Most of these are ghost-types, like Duskull, who heralded in Halloweens of previous years. It only follows that a shiny variant after release would be the next best thing.
So, can Duskull be shiny?
Trainers, we're happy to announce that Alolan Marowak caught during Alolan Marowak Raid Day will know the exclusive move Shadow Bone!

Can Duskull be Shiny in Pokemon GO
Yes, Duskull can be shiny in Pokemon GO! Duskull and its shiny form were recently featured in the Spotlight Hour on Oct. 27, 2020. Trainers can encounter this Pokemon in the wild at dusk and nighttime. Its most common egg group is 5 k.m—however, it isn't currently available to be hatched.
Shiny Duskull is notably distinct from its normal color palette due to the fact that it's mostly pink. When encountered in its shiny variant, Duskull exchanges its normally charcoal gray coloring with a dusty rose-pink.
While Duskull was originally implemented in-game on Oct. 17, 2017, for Halloween, its shiny variant didn't see a debut until six days later on Oct. 26.
Also known as the "Requiem Pokemon," Duskull is best known for its ability to pass through any barrier despite its thickness. It does not give up the hunt until the first light of dawn. It hails from the Hoenn region with a PokeDex number of 355 and can be evolved into Dusclops with 50 candies. Trainers can choose to evolve their Dusclops into Dusknoir with a Sinnoh stone and 100 candies.
