Can Kricketot Be Shiny in Pokemon Go? Pokemon Go players are pondering that question as the Spotlight hour Pokemon will have its time on June 30.

June Spotlight hour occurs each Tuesday at 6 p.m. local time. A selected Pokemon will have special bonuses such as double stardust, XP or candy. Patrat and Numel have had their turns this month, only Clefairy and Kricketot are left.

Kricketot will be the Spotlight hour Pokemon on June 30. Players will receive double candies for catching the Pokemon.

Can Kricketot be Shiny in Pokemon GO?

Kricketot was introduced with the release of the Sinnoh region. It evolves into Kricketune with 50 candies.

Shiny Kricketot and Shiny Kricketune are not in the game. Players will not be able to get these variants as they have yet to be released.

It is also unlikely for Niantic to release the shiny variants during Spotlight hour as they have not announced such.

The 2020 Pokemon Go Fest will be a digital two-day event. Pokemon Go's Twitter just announced Mega Pokemon to be released this year. In addition, mythical Pokemon Victini will most likely be the ultimate reward of the Pokemon Go Fest.
