Can Piloswine be Shiny in Pokémon GO?
The first step to getting a Shiny Piloswine is to get a Shiny Swinub. Swinub was recently featured in Spotlight Hours, but those events don't give a boost to encountering Shiny Pokémon. You'll run into a Shiny Pokémon roughly once every 450 encounters.
If you missed out on Spotlight Hours, Swinub can be found in farmland, woodland, and ski resorts or glaciers if you're near one of those.
Pokémon don't appear Shiny on the map, so you have to engage each one before you'll know. The same applies for Pokémon battled in Raids. You can fight Piloswine, but you won't know it's Shiny until you go to capture it.
A Shiny Swinub is green, but it becomes yellow as Piloswine. Shiny Mamoswine is green again, so it looks like an angry lime compared to the chill lemon that Piloswine resembles.
