Some Fortnite players are willing to take their skills on the road wherever they go. Why waste hours on a commute or in a lecture when you could be practicing for your pro-career? Fortunately, with Epic's port to the Nintendo Switch, fans can make this happen. The only roadblock is whether or not it's exclusively available on the primary Switch console or can be played on its smaller sibling, the Switch Lite, as well.

Can You Play Fortnite on Nintendo Switch Lite?

Yes, you can play Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch Lite. As the two handhelds support the same software, the titles they can handle have a large amount of overlap. So long as the game is available in the Switch's "handheld mode"—where players access gameplay with joy-cons attached to either side of the screen—then the Switch Lite can handle it.

Fortnite originally released for the Switch in June 2018. The game, itself, has been out since September 2017. Since then, players have had the chance to enjoy 16 seasons—ten in Chapter 1 and six in Chapter 2.
