Can you preorder Homeworld 3?

After initially being revealed during the E3 Gearbox presentation as the series' first mainline game officially in production since 2003, anticipation surrounding Homeworld 3 continues to build the closer we get to its 2022 release date.

Here's the latest for players anxiously awaiting the opportunity to preorder Homeworld 3.

Can You Preorder Homeworld 3?

Homeworld 3 is ready to be preordered in the form of three different bundles, available on the game's original Fig campaign website.

  • Homeworld Complete Edition ($60): Includes one digital copy of Homeworld 3, access to the game's backer-only Discord and early access to Homeworld Mobile.
  • Homeworld 3 Wingmate Digital Collector's Edition ($100): Includes two digital copites of Homeworld 3, Fig-exclusive digital content (e.g. multiplayer name colors, backer ship decals, icons and banners), entry in a randomized pool to be selected as one of the in-game pilot names and early access to Homeworld Mobile.
  • Homeworld 3 Collector's Edition Bundle ($150): Includes one digital copy of Homeworld 3, the collector's edition, Fig-exclusive digital content (e.g. multiplayer name colors, backer ship decals, icons and banners), access to the game's supporter-only Discord and early access to Homeworld Mobile.

According to Blackbird Interactive's dev update website for Homeworld 3, the space-faring RTS remains a work in progress with the team continuing to push for its expected Q4 2022 release. Out of the game's six development stages listed by Blackbird Interactive, Homeworld 3 still remains in the first "Pre-Production Stage."
