Pokémon Sword's Legendary wolf Pokémon Zacian is Pokémon GO's latest tier five raid opponent as part of the Ultra Unlock Part 3: Sword and Shield Event. Up to this point only Zacian's Hero of Many Battles form was available in Pokémon Go, but his Crowned Sword form is not. This means Zacian will only be a Fairy-type when caught and not a Fairy- and Steel-type as his Crowned Sword for would be.

Can Zacian Be Shiny in Pokémon Go?

As with all new Pokémon added to Pokémon Go, a shiny Zacian will not be immediately available. It's fairly common for the game's developer Niantic to release a shiny version of a Pokémon roughly a year after its initial release as part of a separate event.

As a Fairy-type Pokémon, Zacian has the advantage against Fighting-, Dragon-, Dark- and Bug-type Pokémon, so avoid bringing these types of Pokémon into the battle if at all possible. Poison- and Steel-type attacks are especially strong against Fairy-type Pokémon, so bringing Pokémon that receive the same type attack bonus from these types of moves will give you the greatest advantage against Zacian.
