Will Canberra be in Animal Crossing: New Horizons? Canberra is an uchi, koala villager in the Animal Crossing series. She first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. But will she return?
During the Nintendo Direct back in February, Nintendo confirmed 40 returning villagers, and Canberra was one of them!

Canberra Animal Crossing New Horizons: Will Canberra Return to New Horizons?
The koala villager will receive a graphical update like every other villager and if you were a fan of the tomboy character, she may arrive on your island. And as fans await the March 20 release date, speculation of what is to come has escalated.
We even have a gravestone which is being investigated by the community. There have been multiple theories of who it could belong to. Some figure it's Joan, the old turnip seller who is missing or even the elderly Tortimer.
The old mayor from Animal Crossing: City Folk and Wild World has retired by New Leaf. Maybe it's a monument to him. Whatever the case, Nintendo has yet to respond to the community inquiries on the matter.
At least we know Canberra is safe!
