Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition Gets Switch Release Date

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition had been given a release date for the Nintendo Switch.

Revealed as part of the recent Nintendo Direct, which streamed on Feb. 9, Chrono Cross is getting a remaster - Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. This remastered version brings the 3D visuals into HD, with improved character illustrations, and a higher quality soundtrack.

In addition to the remastered Chrono Cross, the game will also come with Radical Dreamers - a text-based visual novel adventure game which formed part of the Chrono series. Originally released in 1996, Radical Dreamers acted as a side story to Chrono Cross, though the game has been hard to access for many years. Now, with Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition, both stories are being brought into the modern age.

Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is due to be released on Nintendo Switch on April 7, 2022. The game will also be getting a PlayStation, Xbox, and PC release.
