Cryogonal is one of Pokémon GO's most season-appropriate Pokémon. Designed to resemble a snowflake with angry, glowing eyes and a bizarre frown, this Pokémon is now available in Pokémon GO for the first time as a part of the game's holiday celebration. Here's what you need to know about it.
Cryogonal Pokémon GO: What You Need to Know
Cryogonal is an Ice-Type Pokémon Nintendo introduced in Generation 5. It is known in the Pokédex as the Crystallizing Pokémon, and has no evolutions in either direction.
In Pokémon GO, Cryogonal sports a maximum CP of 2,798, with 190 attack, 218 defense and 190 stamina. It can use Frost Breath, Ice Shard, Aurora Beam, Night Slash and Water Pulse.
From a player-vs-environment perspective, Cryogonal is an all-around lackluster Pokémon with few applications. It is outclassed in almost every way by other Pokémon. The same is largely true in player-vs-player contexts, making Cryogonal more decorative than useful.
