Crypto, Pathfinder Combo Allows Apex Legends Players to Fly

A new Apex Legends trick allows players to fly around the map using a combination of Crypto and Pathfinder's abilities.

Crypto's tactical ability, Surveillance Drone, allows him to explore an area remotely. The drone itself can fly from place to place, making it useful in its own right, but the ability comes alive when combined with pieces from other Apex Legends kits.

Because the drone is a physical, interactable object, players have found myriad uses for it. Combined with Gibraltar, it can become a flying dome shield. But with Pathfinder's grappling hook, the drone becomes a free ticket to the skies.

The trick is exceedingly easy to execute, requiring simply that players attach their grappling hook to Crypto's drone, which can then fly up to the heavens. Streamer NiceWigg demonstrated it on a recent broadcast, flying high above World's Edge.

Whether or not Respawn Entertainment intended this interaction is unknown.
