Cyberpunk 2077 may have a few DLC plans in the works, according to a hidden message from the most recent trailer.

Amidst an unfortunate, bug-infested launch, fans of CD Projekt Red's (CDPR) sci-fi action-RPG, Cyberpunk 2077, are piecing together the developer's future content plans. Some have discovered and published a secretive message in the latest trailer released just one day before the game's launch on Dec. 10. The implications of the message answer one of the most crucial questions on fans' minds.

So, what's next for Cyberpunk 2077?

The message, itself, is obscured in the trailer as a single split-second frame containing a text statement from CDPR, themselves.

"...we’ll first be kicking off our free DLC program in early 2021. Just like with The Witcher 3, expect an assortment of free DLC packs to begin hitting Night City, dropping a bunch of cool stuff that’ll inject even more life into the world of the dark future." They wrote.

The developers noted that while they aren't ready to get into specifics just yet, they "learned a lot from [their] work on both Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine." The upcoming DLCs will feature "substantial, story-driven content" that provides players with "tough choices" through "impactful narratives"—promising a memorable experience for all who partake.

Additionally, there have been rumors of a multiplayer mechanic coming to the game. No concrete information exists about this, however, and DBLTAP cannot confirm any functions or information at this time.
