Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended Specs: What Specifications You'll Need to Play in September
By Andrew Lin

Cyberpunk 2077 recommended specs have yet to be officially revealed by CD Projekt RED. Their games have long had a reputation for demanding only the highest specs out of your PC.
While you could run the game with minimal settings, CD Projekt RED's games are designed with the highest settings in mind. The allure of the open worlds of The Witcher 3 or Cyberpunk 2077 are intended and should be enjoyed as best it can be, as the environments play a big part of the atmosphere and design.
Cyberpunk 2077 Recommended Specs
While Cyberpunk 2077 will be running a different engine than The Witcher 3, we can look at that game's specifications as a baseline for what we can expect from Cyberpunk.

The recommended specs call for something beefier:
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or 64-bit Windows 8 (8.1).
Processor: Intel CPU Core i7 3770 3,4 GHz, AMD CPU AMD FX-8350 4 GHz
Graphics: Nvidia GPU GeForce GTX 770 or AMD GPU Radeon R9 290

In an interview with MCV UK, Cyberpunk 2077 producer Richard Borzymowski said the game features "global illumination" in addition to the lighting engine. We can only assume this additional "wow factor" that Boryzmowski describes will require some serious power to run at its full majesty.
The game is confirmed to be enhanced for PS4 Pro or Xbox One X, so you won't need to worry about running the game at high capacity if you have one of these 4K consoles.
Cyberpunk 2077 releases Sept. 17, 2020 for PC, PS4, Xbox and Stadia.
