The D.I.C.E 23rd Annual Awards finalists were revealed Friday as Academy members will begin general voting. The winners will be announced at the D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony on Feb. 13 at the Aria Resort Las Vegas. As with the previous three years, Jessica Chobot and Greg Miller will co-host the event.

To all of the finalists – a big congratulations on continuing to push the boundaries of storytelling, creativity and technical innovation. We can’t wait to celebrate your achievements at the 23rd Annual D.I.C.E. Awards!”
Control and Death Stranding lead the nominees with eight nominations each with a total of 65 games receiving nominations.
There will be a total of 23 categories like Outstanding Achievement in Animation which saw Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Days Gone, Death Stranding, Devil May Cry 5, and Luigi's Mansion 3 make the finalist cut.
Soundtracks and music will be a focal point of the awards with Arise: A Simple Story, Control, Erica, Golem, and Mortal Kombat 11 are the finalists for Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition.
The Outer Worlds, Outer Wilds, Telling Lies, Disco Elysium, and Control are finalists for Outstanding Achievement in Story.
Game of the Year, the most coveted award, had five finalists: Control, Death Stranding, Disco Elysium, Outer Wilds, and Untitled Goose Game.
The Online Game of the Year category includes Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, TETRIS? 99, and Wargroove.
