Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition has received a surprise release on Xbox, and it's also available now on Xbox Game Pass.

In celebration of the game's 10-year anniversary, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc has finally made its way to Xbox. See where the story of Hope's Peak academy began and start your investigation into the encompassing despair. This visual novel centers around protagonist Makoto Naegi as he enrolls at Hope's Peak Academy. Naturally, things aren't quite what they seem as his school life is quickly turned into a dangerous killing game.

This Anniversary Edition had previously been released for both iOS and Android devices back in 2020, then on Switch in 2021 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary.

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is Now on Xbox Game Pass

For the first time, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is now available on Xbox and Xbox Game Pass. Players can purchase the game individually for $14.99 or play it on either the console or PC version of the subscription service.

The Anniversary Edition includes a new gallery feaure alongside some improved gameplay systems. While Spike Chunsoft has yet to confirm if the game's sequels will be making their way to Xbox and Xbox Game Pass, the arrival of the first installment of the cult classic is certainly a good sign.
