David Beckham FIFA 22 Mid Icon SBC was added to Ultimate Team during the Adidas Numbers Up promotion.

The Numbers Up promotion is all about celebrating Adidas athletes and the boots they wear in real life. Each player featured in the promotion is categorized based on boots and that'll play a part in what statistical upgrades they get later on in the cycle. EA Sports also released a David Beckham SBC since he wore the Predator Mania boots during his career.

This is yet another perplexing release from EA Sports. Not only did EA Sports already add a RM Icon to the SBC section in the form of Jay-Jay Okocha, but the base Beckham is arguably a better card overall.

Mid Beckham is currently around 370,000 coins on the transfer market and that should come down as players look to move those cards and complete the untradeable version. Don't expect this SBC release to inflate fodder either.
