Days Gone Boozer Death: Does Boozer Die?

Right from the get go, Boozer's arm is injured and Deacon isn't able to fix the injury. Eventually, you take him to Lost Lake to fix his arm, but it can't be saved so it's cut off. Boozer then goes into a depression until you get him a dog that helps cheer him up.

Finally, at the end of the game, you assault Crater Lake with the help of Boozer. You both plan to ram the gate with a truck, but Boozer pushes Deacon out and the truck explodes into the gate.

Surprise! He's not dead. After it's all over, you see Boozer alive and he tells you that he jumped out in time too.
