Days Gone Download Incomplete: How to Fix the Issue

Days Gone download incomplete is the last message players want to see when they've just installed the new zombie survival game and want to get out into the wasteland.

Days Gone is the recently-released action-adventure survival horror game developed by SIE Bend Studio. Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 on April 26, Days Gone sees players take on the role of reformed outlaw-turned-bounty hunter Deacon St. John as he attempts to survive the post-apocalyptic zombie-infested open world.

Or at least, players would hope to navigate the open world. Instead, many players have found themselves stuck in Copeland's Camp with a "Download Incomplete" message.

Upon attempting to leave Copeland's Camp, players have been greeted by a message "Download incomplete. Go explore Copeland's Camp" and are unable to leave the area, even after completing all there is to do inside the region.

Thankfully, the solution is simple.

Players should simply double-check to ensure that the game is fully installed. Many games allow players to begin playing before the game is fully downloaded, but it can often lead to situations where they are unable to progress.

Players should simply quit the game and check if it is downloaded and installed. For those who purchased digital copies, this can be observed through the PlayStation 4's main hub menu. For those with physical disc copies, keeping the disc inserted and waiting for the whirring the stop should serve as an indicator that it is completely installed.

Days Gone also has multiple editions with bonus content that should be available in-game. It is also confirmed to be exclusive to the PlayStation 4.
