There a variety of different zombies/freakers in Days Gone, and we're going to break them all down!

Days Gone Zombie Types

There are multiple different types of zombies/freaks in Days Gone. Here's a quick rundown on all the different types and what you can expect from them:

Swarmers are Freakers that almost always stay in groups of three or more. They are the most common enemies players will encounter. They are rarely alone and will take any opportunity they can get to overwhelm the player.

Newts are smaller, weaker, and less threatening freakers. They will typically leave you alone unless you are weak or they outnumber you massively.

Screamers can, as you might have guessed from their name, scream. Their scream will stun the player and make it difficult to maneuver and fight them. Their screams will also attract other freakers in the area to you.

Breakers are the tank-style freakers in Days Gone. They're big, beefy, and can crush you with little effort. Stay away from them!
