A release date for Death's Door on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch has been announced.
As part of Sony's State of Play event yesterday, a release date for Death's Door was announced for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The release date will also be the same for Nintendo Switch. The 3D action-adventure game will be releasing on these platforms on Nov. 23, 2021.
Developed by Acid Nerve and published by Devolver Digital, Death's Door originally launched on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC back in July 2021. The game was met with positive reviews, with many likening its style to that of The Legend of Zelda and Dark Souls.
In Death's Door, players take control of a small crow who collects souls for the Reaping Commission Headquarters. Using various weapons and combat mechanics, players will be making their way through dungeons on the hunt for three Giant Souls in order to open Death's Door.
Solving puzzles, collecting items, and learning abilities will be the key to progression in this action-adventure game. While the game is difficult, it doesn't exist to punish you in quite the same way as Dark Souls. With it's top-down view and stylized aesthetics, it's sure to capture your imagination.
Death's Door will release on Nov. 23, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The game has already released on Xbox and PC, so players on these platforms can get stuck into the game straightaway.
