The Demon's Souls remake's release date has been confirmed, if obliquely. Players don't have long to wait now, provided they're willing to shell out for the PlayStation 5.

Demon's Souls Remake Release Date: When Will the Game Arrive?

Souls fans the world over despaired when Atlus shut down the servers for Demon's Souls in February 2018, eight years after the game's release. News of the game's imminent remake revitalized hope for players who wished to experience the seminal FromSoftware action RPG, whether they planned a new adventure or a return to familiar grounds.

As Sony has officially confirmed the remake as a launch title for the PlayStation 5, the game will be available to play starting the same day the PS5 is released: Nov. 12.

Although the latest trailer for the Demon's Souls remake announced — in small print — that the game would be available on PC as well, Sony has since stated the game would launch as a PS5 exclusive. The company has not outright denied the chance of a PC release.
