Didier Drogba FIFA 20 is the newest Icon coming to the upcoming iteration of FIFA Ultimate Team.


Drogba, the Ivorian international, makes his return to FIFA Ultimate Team for the first time since FIFA 17, joins Andrea Pirlo, Ian Wright, and Ronald Koeman as the newest Icons in the game.

Didier Drogba FIFA 20: New Icon Announced for Ultimate Team


Drogba is the second striker announced as a new FIFA 20 Icon following Arsenal fan-favorite Ian Wright.


Drogba, as an Ivorian, provides a unique and sought after hard link in Ultimate Team for players such as Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace and Nicolas Pepe of LOSC Lille. Considering Pepe's reported move to Arsenal, expect Drogba to be a sought after Icon.


EA Sports is set to reveal the Ultimate Edition cover Tuesday after already debuting Eden Hazard and Virgil Van Dijk as cover stars for the regular and Champions Edition. Rumors circulating hint at Zinedine Zidane on the cover with an Icon announcement as well.


FIFA 20 releases Sept. 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
