An open-world single-player simulation game in the same vein as The Sims, but with its own twist, is in development.
The unique art style and incredible developer transparency of Paralives, an upcoming Indie game planned for release on Steam for PC and Mac, have helped it gain a huge following since its announcement.
Players will be able to create characters and dictate their lives in any way they would like. From getting characters to hang out with others, have varying jobs and build homes from a preferred vision, players will have a lot of choices with how they play Paralives.
One of the most exciting features of the game is the Paramaker feature, where players create their characters. The potential characters will be able to have their heights and tattoos customizable, in addition to normal physical characteristic customization like skin color, facial features and hair.
Does Paralives Have a Release Date?
The Paralives official website says that it is still at a very early stage in development and won't provide a tentative release date to avoid upsetting fans in the case there are delays.
The game was announced in June of 2019, so it has been in development for almost four years. Developer Alex Massé, and their team, have been spending a lot of time working on the game, with constant updates being published to Twitter.
Paralives developers have a beta version planned for the future, with an indiscriminate date.
