Does Rainbow Six Extraction have a beta? With a strong multiplayer component built into its DNA, Extraction seems a perfect fit for a public beta of some kind. A beta would give players a chance to try out the game before it launches, offering the development team feedback it can incorporate in the full release and testing the game's servers. Here's what we've heard about the possibility of a Rainbow Six Extraction beta.
Does Rainbow Six Extraction Have a Beta?
In Rainbow Six Extraction, up to three players team up to research and fight off an alien threat called the Archæans. They'll infiltrate the Archæeans' strongholds to gather samples, kill aliens, and rescue captured operators.
Back when Extraction was still known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, Ubisoft ran a technical test of the game for players to try it out. Players were made to sign non-disclosure agreements as part of the sign-up process, as Ubisoft tried to keep details of the game under wraps. The test invitations were sent to a relatively small group of players, and the test itself is now long finished.
Now that the game is known as Rainbow Six Extraction, Ubisoft has yet to share plans about another testing period. With only a few months before its Sept. 16 release date, the window for a beta test is rapidly closing. For now, no such test is on the horizon.
