Hyeon-Jul "Doran" Choi has joined Griffin's League of Legends team, the Korean organization announced Wednesday in a Reddit post.
"Doran (Hyeon-Jun Choi) has decided to join team Griffin, starting from the summer season of 2019!" the team posted to Reddit. "Please cheer on player Doran on his bright and new beginning!"
Doran was apparently part of the team's academy roster and has now joined the active LCK team. He will be a substitute for Sung-won "Sword" Choi.
Griffin won the spring split of the LCK with a 15-3 record before being swept 3-0 in the finals of the spring playoffs by SK Telecom T1.
The rest of the team's roster consists of Seung-Yong "Tarzan" Lee, Ji-Hoon "Chovy" Jeong, Do-hyeon "Viper" Park, Sang-hyeon "Kabbie" Jeong and Si-woo "Lehends" Son. Chovy is the reigning LCK MVP.
