Dota 2 TI9 Schedule

All regional qualifiers are finished up and we have our 16 teams that will be competing at The International. Things will be a bit on the quiet side for the next couple of weeks, but the group stage will start Aug. 15 and run through Aug. 18. If past TIs are anything to go by, these three days will be a frantic series of round robin games, so we'll get to see every team face off against each other.

By the end of Aug. 18, we'll have the seeds for the main stage brackets. The main event, which will include eliminations, will run from Aug. 20 - 25. The first two days are usually packed with matches as teams start getting eliminated from the lower bracket. The show match, as well as any possible hero announcements, should take place on the third or fourth day. Day 5 will be reserved for the semifinal and best-of-five final series.

We don't have concrete information yet on the timing of any of the matches, but expect them to come up late at night or very early in the morning. This is the first time The International is being held in China, and there's a 12-15 hour time difference between Shanghai and the United States.
