Team Liquid AD carry Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng announced he was benched Tuesday from the team's LCS League of Legends roster.

"I'm benched because I had no motivation until very recently. Being sick and unable to compete gave me my passion back, but too late. I'm sorry towards every one of my teammates and I'll be working from now on to regain their trust," Doublelift said in a tweet Wednesday.
Team Liquid's League of Legends team will start Academy player Edward "Tactical" Ra after helping the team secure a 2-0 week against Team SoloMid and 100 Thieves. Both wins helped propel Team Liquid into a four-way tie for third with a 6-6 record.
Team Liquid faces Counter Logic Gaming and Immortals in Week 7 with only six games left in the regular season.
