The first Dragon's Dogma came out in 2012, where players took on the role of the Arisen set on a journey to defeat a giant red dragon named Grigori. The RPG is often praised for its incredible boss battles, challenging yet rewarding gameplay, and great story.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is the first and long-awaited main installment in more than ten years since the first game came out. Fans are dying to know when they can dive back into Capcom's franchise.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Release Date

Dragon's Dogma 2 will come out on Mar. 22. It will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam).

Like the first game, players embark on a journey to get their heart back from the Dragon. Video Game Designer and Director Hideaki Itsuno shared more information about Dragon's Dogma 2 in an interview with IGN. He stated some aspects of the world in the first game have carried over to Dragon's Dogma 2. But the second game is in "a different parallel world," so "there will be parts that are similar yet different."

The narrative-driven RPG gives players an immersive experience, letting them customize their appearances, pick their parties, choose their paths, and more.
