Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 5 is set to arrive Thursday night, and with it comes a huge number of balance changes. Weapons from all over the game's power spectrum are seeing changes, including pistols.

The changes affect all the pistols in the game, but only come into play when dual wielding them. Wielding these weapons will now mean a slightly reduced movement speed and strafing speed.

"While not being able to aim down sights is a sizable trade-off, movement speed has always been a top factor for success with short-range weapons," Treyarch wrote in the patch notes released ahead of the update itself. "Lowering the movement speed while dual wielding creates more of a liability regarding range and positioning."

Dual wielding pistols now has a slight movement speed penalty.
