FC 24 Road to the Knockouts
EA Sports FC 24 Road to the Knockouts release date is around the corner as players prepare for the first major Ultimate Team promotion of the new era.
Road to the Knockouts follows players and clubs competing in UEFA competitions. Those competitions include the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League. This is the first UEFA promotion of the year focusing specifically on the group stages of each competition. Players will receive upgrades if their clubs advance to the knockout stages of their respective tournaments.
Here's when FC 24 Road to the Knockouts will begin and what players have already been announced or leaked.
EA Sports FC 24 Road to the Knockouts Release Date
Road to the Knockouts begins on Friday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. ET. At that time, a promotional squad will enter packs, Nike Mad Ready cards will no longer be available, and there will likely be objectives and SBCs for players to complete.
EA Sports FC 24 Road to the Knockouts Team 2 Release Date
It's currently unknown if the promotion will include two squads available in packs across two weeks, though it wouldn't be surprising considering how frequently EA Sports opts for two squads. If there is a second promotional squad, which EA Sports would likely announce in-game or on social media as Team 1, the second squad would release Friday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. ET.
As well, we'll have to see if EA Sports keeps up the trend of mini-releases on the weekend. If EA does, then more players should be added to packs on Sunday, Oct. 1.
EA Sports FC 24 Road to the Knockouts Players
The following players have been either announced or leaked for FC 24 RTTK:

- Lois Openda - RB Leipzig (Champions League)

What Happened to FC 24 Ones to Watch?
Ones to Watch has been apparently replaced by Road to the Knockouts as the first promotion of the new Ultimate Team year. It seems the promotion won't be returning considering the later it goes, the less popular OTW cards will be among the player base.
