Elder Scrolls Online Blackwood: Map Explained
By Jack O'Dwyer

Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) has released its latest expansion, Blackwood, throwing players into the path of Mehrunes Dagon for the second time in series history.
Dagon is back—or, according to the timeline, visiting for the first time—in an attempt to claim Tamriel for his own. This daedric prince has been opening portals to his plane of Oblivion all over the continent and it's up to the Vestige and their crew to save the world once again. The story of Blackwood tells the tale of ambition, deceit, and power tearing the region asunder for personal gain. Worse yet—the Imperials may have brought this disaster down on their own heads.

Elder Scrolls Online Blackwood: Map Explained
Blackwood is a region nestled within the intersection of Cyrodiil, Black Marsh, and Elsweyr. This makes it a thriving hub of Imperial, Argonian, and Khajiiti relations as it borders all three origin territories. The swamps of Black Marsh and the warm dunes of Elsweyr create a notable contrast against Cyrodiil's verdant hills and wooded landscape.
